i have a good 1.5" between the top of the fender and tire... mostly to deal with the axles articulating up and down when i go over driveways, etc. be sure to check the clearance between the inside of the fender and the inside wall of the tire too. mine were rubbing when i had the old bigger tires on it. eek!
someday my trailer will be triple cool like beerjets... until then i can just drool over that pic.
