Title: Tunnel Ram sutup pictures,
Post by: Crusader83 on January 09, 2011, 12:13:42 PM
Can you guys post some pics of your tunnel ram setups?
I want to clean the setup up on mine.
New fuel lines and stuff.

Lets see what you have.

I have the old Banjo fitting style carbs, so those pics would help.

Thanks guys.

Did your setup have Banjo fittings?
What did you use to eliminate them?

i figured out what it was...its all good now.

....except this thread. Something happened with this thread that disallows it to show non-inserted images. I will write a tutorial on how to properly insert images.

No Pat those are the 450's. That pic is right before I put yours on. But they look identical. I'll try to get a different pic up. I have the same set-up as shown in the pic, just with yours on now. Luv it. Thanks again for your time and help. Everything already dialed in just waiting for it to warm-up and for them to put water in the river.

NICE!  ;D

I WILL tell you this though. DP's woulda never fit this way. I still beleive the cylinder to cylinder lean/rich condition would have. and will be, been an ongoing issue with any sideways mounted carbs, tunnel ram, blower, I don't care. It'll show bank to bank. Yet to have anyone prove me wrong on that. Even after I blew Moo up, (not related to the induction, but to my idiocy as an engine assembler) the plugs were ALL a deep tan color, even steven, all 8.  Mike Kuhl was not an idiot, and I did this before I ever heard his name even.

Twice, we ran my plugs through my stores spectrometer (Paint matching system). Both times all were the identical results, save for #3 and #7, which detected a tad lighter, but the paint system showed the same mixture. It was that slight.

Call it what you will boys, but vacuum secondarys WORK on tunnel rams.
