I have an oil leak from the valve cover gaskets so I went by summit and grabbed a set of stock rubber gaskets.  When I took the cover off it has a rope style gasket. Went back to summit and they couldn't find a rope gasket. Has anyone seen these or have a part number that I can look up. Thanks any help is appreciated.

I didn't see any listed on Summit website.  You might try Napa for 2001-2007 Gen VI 8.1L gaskets.  If they need help with the computer tell them it's in a Suburban.
