Weekend Lake Trips

Boat goes back to its winter home in Bakersfield Saturday.

. Its a good thing there is always next year. Your boat got fixed I assume?

I hope you mean Sept 16th.......... no water this weekend....... next weekend doesn't look any better. I have a Union meeting on the 23rd........ looks lke October for me. Bob... that's a beautiful boat you got there. I guess you'll be dry for a while.

At the end of October I loose my cheep storage for my trailer at the river and I'll have to bring it back home,

making it difficult to tow my boat and trailer with my Tahoe

. I will be trying to make a few lake trips during the winter season.

So keep posting when someone is going

I usually stay at the best western or the "bridge Inn" anywhere in that area. Launch out of the blue water . I try and go up river in the morning as far as possible and then hangout at the sandbar the rest of the day cuz I'll tell ya , it's a bitch tryin to pour patron while under way .

I dont know which park is which when I'm driving past them so help me out .

I haven't been running the Parker Strip long enough to know which park is what

I camp/launch out of Emerald Cove, which is across from the Keys (houses with canels running around them).

I also run up to the dam and float down.

13th and 14th are looking good.... I'll go to work just long enough to collect the paycheck on Friday then head on up there. We will also probably be at emerald cove. Maybe Best Western...

The Parker Strip is cool, you can run up to the dam at the south end of Lake Havasu float down for a while, run down a little and hang out at the lower dam across from the Blue Water Casino.

Caution: Early AM is good, Saturday afternoon gets very choppy, Sunday afternoons are good, weekdays are wonderful most of the time.

Just be aware that the cove/sandbar across from the casino can get a little crazy/tacky for the little ones. My 9 year old daughter was not as impressed with the g-strings as I was

We will be out that weekend and every weekend through late october! But thats a hellofa drive for yall! But all are welcomed! Any of you guys make Texas and ill show you a helluva time. Not always jet boat time but on the lake in the cove!
