what a differance in bowls...

Doing a conversion on my Jacuzzi pump...   the famous Energizer, but with a little tweeking from JBP.
Had both bowls out an took some pics...   lots of diference between the two.

First is the jacuzzi wj, basicly stock...  (sorry for blur, cold in shop...  shivers  :()



second is the dominator energizer conversion bowl...




I so can't wait to see what the speed and output difference are from one to the next  ;D
Anyone done this conversion an been happy with it? The flow differance must be noticable, but if not...   Blower time  ;D

Plus I've added stainless shaft, ss impellor, diverter, droop snoot and rudder. But that's a givin at this stage, lol  ;)

I did the conversion and i had the WJ pump.  I just recently pulled it out of the boat and put the boat up for sale ;)  We did notice a big difference in thrust and all around performance but we had such a weak engine so it didnt reach its full potential, Dam 455 sucks ;D

This pump probably does not even have a season on it.  All we did with it is launch it and take it to the other side of the lake, and it sat there till we were ready to go home. back to the other side of the lake, load it and go home ;) Alot of $$$ and it makes me sick to see it here in my closet. But you will enjoy you'rs ;D

I went with the American Turbine.

Forgot to ask, where did you find the droop for it ??? i was looking for one.

First, same bowl,  sc9208...
Thinking since I started with a stainless shaft and bronze impeller in the old jacuzzi...  this is only a flow difference to be seen.
The boat HP is still going to be the same at just over 550 HP on a dyno, so...   time will tell  :)

the droop and everything else I got from Tom @ JBP
he'll hook ya up 2sav  ;)

p.s.  if anyone needs a stainless shaft for a WJ or bronze Impeller talk to Tom at JBP...   good for up too 500+ HP  ;D
