We raced out in lucerne today.  started second off the line. we were running great on our first lap minus a little gps mishap. then on the second lap we were coming up to mile marker 8 and come up on another truck, i honk twice he doesnt move so i honk again still nothin.. time for a love tap  he moves now well now he gets on our ass and we open it up and are getting up to right about 70 and i tell my driver we have a long sweeping right coming up so he drops it a gear. we get into the turn (at about 65 now) and the turns feeling good so he holds it. well about have way through the turn the ass end breaks loose and starts to spin out he corrects but it is to late. she rolls 1 and 1/2 times and ends up on my side.  we call to pit and they send out a chase. we get her righted up let the oils drain back. fire her up and head on our way. right as we get back going we make it to about mile marker 11 or 12 and the truck we nerfed had rolled but he was done he broke his whole back half off. all and all the rest of the race went ok. we sheered the u-bolts that hold the u-joint to the rear end easy fix. then right after that she quit running it would fire but not build rpm unless we got it up to about 30 and then she would come to life until we dropped below 30 and she would fall on her face so needless to say our last 3 laps took FOREVER I got in the truck at 7:30am and wasn't done racin until  4:00pm we came in last but we finished and had 4 minutes to spare before time ran out.... but my adrenaline is still going I had my first fast roll and it was awesome haha I know ill feel it in the morning but well worth it...  sorry about the long post but thought someone would be interested.  pics soon as soon as I get them from everyone

That sounds like a great time.    Now you've got me thinking about putting a horn on my dirt bike.   Do people really move out of your way?   Shit I gotta try that in a couple weeks.  It sounds way easier than just being faster then they are

haha i love desert inginuity! we lost on oil cap on a 1600vw motor and lost oil pressure...dumped a couple quarts in it and capped it with a cut up beer can and stainless steel zip ties! we finished that race...seen a unlimited truck loose something in the steering and they had a boom truck pick up the whole truck and weld up the front suspension...he actually finish first overall too

niether its a 1450 truck and as for the cordless impact we are a broke ass team and that definatley outta budjet

WOW,looks like a good time!I used to go with the checkers guys to watch rodger byrd race in 7s.Is that 7 open or 7s you guys run.also just a hint I have a buddy that worked for voss brothers and when they changed tires they use cordless inpact gun.just my .02
