I just have the silverado to tow the boat and to get me around town.i have my eye on a daily driver.....'79 vw rabbit diesel.....45-55 mpg ....i had one about 3 years ago and kick myself in the ass every day for selling it....it had 250,000 miles on the original head gasket.I would love a diesel rabbit truck just as a parts chaser.....but they are rare and highly saught after....the east coast rust buckets on ebay got for 3-4 grand
