put my hydraulic pumps together just waiting for the motors to come back from being rebuilt. still cheaper than new trim pumps...

Got a lot done today, heads to carb, headers and everything else hooked up, adding oil tomorrow and gonna fire her up! Can't wait to see the difference in the new carb from the holley 750

Intake, carb, valve covers, distributor is in just waiting for my taylor wire and new spark plugs and a couple of fittings before I can fire her

Ordered a AN water dump to evac motor out n run 2 existing dumps for builge and a fuse block from dana marine not to customer friendly though had questions n he just told me to go online n order

Just curious here...how the hell did you get to the motor with that hoist? I mean isn't the boat and trailer not to mention the pump in the way? Took me the same hoist and 2 more guys from the motor slamming into the inside of my boat once the shaft came out of the pump...cause it was at such a bad angle. Next time I yank a motor out of a boat that's on a trailer I'm renting a backho from home depot lol. Coming out or going in. Would make life so much easier.

Fully extend the hoist and go in from the side of the pump had no problem. Had it out in about a half hour just the 2 of us
