He picked it up a month ago. Dropped a BBC in it and took it to elsinore today. Ran awesome. We think it could use a pump rebuild.

It actually has a single 80 gal belly tank... 3 fills so you can fill it faster. I guess it was an old parker enduro boat

We'll got the engine out and doesn't look good all the main bearings are bad don't know about the rod bearings yet but there may be more. There was some water in it so hopefully I can get it apart and there is no crack in the block or in the heads. I may be buying a rebuild. More updates to come.

Took the boat out on sat, ran great! Changed oil/oil filter, new inline fuel filters, plugs gap'd at .38  also the jets are just about spot on, went up to
76 primaries and 82 secondaries 6.5pv timing at 12 initial 36 total in by 2500.

Got my manual tank selector
*thanks phil*  also while messing with the boat I discovered that my quick release for my throttle cable that attaches to the carb linkage was hitting on my mount and stopping the carb from opening all the way!!! About 1/8 of wasn't opening.  *bangs head*  Had to notch it to clear but it's all good now!
which makes sense I used to run 5300ish rpm an it's been only hitting 4900ish.

Looked at it lovingly as i parked my car (with the rear axle smoking cause my seals went and leaked gear oil all over my brand new brake pads, rotors and tires) next to it. Hopefully nothing catostrophic with my rear end. I dont want the hassle of or the price tag of having to put in a new rear end.
