I agree, but it was in bad need of some repairs. I would not be able to save the old paint and complete the repairs. I will post the progress on this face lift project.

Took about an hour of on/off with the hose an shoving a 10g wire into drain holes to get all the sand out of the block. Had over a coffee cup full on each side.

Sweet boat for sure. It is going to take a little work to get her back in the water but we will get her there. We were shooting for a local lake trip Thanksgiving weekend but it is looking like we may need a little more time.

Anything tricky I should know or be aware of? What did you help out with?

Nothing tricky at all, it likes horsepower, proposes at low speeds, but the boat itself is bitchen, handles rough water good. I did the wiring on the engine compartment and helped out with alot with putting the engine in and plumbing it. If you know Drake he doesn't half ass anything he has, all top notch stuff

Awesome. I hope the porposing isn't too bad. This will be a family boat for the most part but of course we want it to be quick. I like to hear that she handles the rough water well. We are shooting for about 650HP right now but we will see where we end up once we hit the dyno.

Unfortunately I don't know Drake but I have read his build on this boat several times. Where are you located? Maybe if I run into any issues we could get together?

Absolutely nothing done to the boat but I cleaned out my garage so I can pull the olds out and see what's really inside her and clean my fuel tanks out..... cleaning fuel filters is getting old

i got lucky when I powder coated all my parts and pump and used Rv silicone it seams to have come off fairly easy. Mothers beers aged and I'm now done 👍
