Installed rebuilt rack and new cable water test at Pleasant tomorrow before memorial weekend in Blythe man I can't wait new boat and another birthday weekend at the river

Went to Elsinore to test, that's bout it nothing too exciting. Found I have a exhaust leak. I tried tightening the bolts and no bueno, still leaked. Gonna pull exhaust off reseal and see what happens.
Anybody have any tricks they don't mind sharing😩. I'm so close, but so far away. It's been way to long since I've been on the water.

i put a thin layer of permatex ultra copper gasket maker around my exhaust ports on the gaskets then hang the gaskets up for a day till theyre dry them install them.. seams to work pretty well for me...

I don't think you saw me... I was in a lifted white 2500hd Chevy truck.

Haha, thanks, dude! I don't remember seeing/hearing anything. Been trying to hit up Castaic and Pyramid as much as possible to shake this thing down. I'm in Northridge. We should make a day trip. Don't have anyone local - as of yet - to go with.

I'm local too. I stopped going to Castaic but will do Pyramid anytime. I'm just waiting for my pump to get rebuilt and I'm back on the water.
