Are you gonna have a metal-flaked jet? BLING BLING 

Good looking boat.

Made a plate to bolt my diverter handle to since the old holes we blown out. 9 screws on the plate then the 5 on the diverter handle.

Then made a little plate to mount to pull switches for my bilge pumps. One any auto with a float and the other a manual. The old setup was all messed up. This will get polished.

Lastly I attempted to fix the clusterfuk of wiring to the gauges. No picture, thank goodness.

Also helped teamwindle22 with his fiberglass and carpet on his boat. Tomorrow we will have 3 boats at the house to work on. Thursday is coming up quick.

Today I sat at the Columbia Drag Boat Associations' awards ceremony in Lowell Oregon today. I spent the whole weekend at Dexter Lake making my 1975 Schuster Tahiti with a 454ci Chevrolet run right. I started the weekend as a some guy with a jet boat and ended up as a weekend racer with a 18 second boat. Now I know this doesnt seem very special but with the help of Clyde the mechanic and a great friend Jack we managed to knock off 2+seconds off the 1/4 mile time. This was my very first race of any type vehicle.. Im a vintage car guy from olden times....and the first time of joining a real association. The staff and all of the real racers help us and helped to get the boat in shape to run decent. I managed to be given a trophy of sorts for the Lyme Riki Race Team...

I had a blast and us up here in Oregon are keepin the jet boat dream alive...
