Took the 523 ford out today , been using this motor for 8 years, it's been in my 2 previous boats. It was a 9 to 1 flat tappet .

Got the oil reservoir and breather installed today. But Unfortunately noticied some fiber glass work that needs to be done before the motor goes in. Looks like beginning of July to be boating

So I have been wanting some Auto meter Ultra-Lite gauges for a long time. Just not in the budget.
So I get a wild hair and a can of silver spray paint.

I want to add some blue bezels to go behind the gauges. Now that I look at it, I'll probably take off the pin striping on the dash also.

I took out my crusty Indmar motor mounts and slapped in a glenwood solid deal. Pretty sure the feet are wrong but they don't fit inside anyway and are way better than before. So screw it. Run it! Haha.

looks good Dave, Eddie marine stocks the bezels in stock and they are very affordable. Many different colors too

Thanks. But I think I want to update the boat a little. At least bring it into the 80's.  ;D

Thanks Steve. It's hard for me to do any big projects with the boat(time, space to work, $$). So I figured I should at least get focused on trying to get the small, easy stuff done.

Adding a second battery. Building the box. Also ran new trailer wires. Waiting to for a buddy to bring his plasma cutter over this weekend so he can cut two holes in the trailer. Adding a set of another 6in tail lights.

Built and added a v-bunk to the trailer to get the boat from rocking like crazy and hitting the floater bar when trailering. And a whole bunch of other stuff

Picked up pump from B1 and put her in.
B1 is awesome ! Just need some headers and other small things to button her up so I can get her in the water.
