Pump housing machined for popoff...

I've had it on the shelf for a couple years... so I figured might as well put it on since I was freshening up the pump.

Remember kids... cut first... then measure a couple times to see why it didn't come out right... then grind... then refill because you ground too much... then measure.

Removing weight... and adding it back in...

Nope... but while it's getting a facelift... do the cutting and installing now... that way WHENEVER I actually find time to put the 489 back together... boat is ready for it.

Picked up the Twins the other day, and got them put on. Also started drawing my front motor plate in solid works and got the first plate cut in steel on my CNC plasma. Need to make a few more changes but I'm pretty close.

Rebuilding pump. Got the transom all cleaned up from whoever lathered the ol silicone on before I owned it... Getting ready to reinstall pump once GS marine has the new bushings and bearings done.

Rod and main bearings have 218k plus on them, then a year and a half in the boat and 16 bottles of a 150 shot through them

Shocked they lasted.

Just a suggestion... ditch the A bearings  on the bottle... they have great wearability... but don't like the pounding too much.
