Hit Silverwood Lake up on Saturday instead of Elsinore (thanks for the heads up people). Did my first trip in the Tahiti since I bought her. Still breaking in the rebuilt 460 (9 hours now) but got it up to 58mph according to the phone app. Did about 10 laps on the lake and pulled up to the launch ramp right when the Sheriff was dropping their boat in. Probably a good time for me to leave at that point. Boat ran solid and the hull was very stable with no porpoising or noticeable handling issues. Should be a good summer! See you all at Parker this weekend!

Sweet, congrats on a good first run, that lake is very "hit and miss" I've been out and it's glass and I've been out and taken white caps over the bow, it gets ugly up there quick, was my go to spot for quite a while but after how bad it was the last trip I'll stick with Elsinore or the river👌🏼

Installed a flywheel cover today at cyclone speed and marine that was water jet cut ,then checked valve clearances , timing and a few other things , now it's time for a river run

Over the weekend had to gravel the rv access cause the local code enforcement are a bunch of nazis.
Then was able to install a Holly 750 I picked up from Steveo from the forum (solid sale, carb was as advertised and works great) clean old gas out of tanks washed and detailed the interior.

Yeah it got windy and choppy but nothing to big. We anchored out in the cove to the North East and relaxed a bit. Overall it was a nice day but I won't go there again, to small for me. Parker, Elsinore, Big River, Laughlin and Havasu are next on my list!
