for a living that allows you to have so many weekends off to float. Since joining, I have read numerous posts of some pretty fun weekends. Yeah, I'm jealous. Please post what you do for a living. May have to rearrange my priorities.

We specialized in finish carpentry for 17 years and did fairly well. When the market took a turn, we shut it down. Phone hasn't rang for over a year. :(

Times have been a little tough lately but we're managing to squeak by. Although the profit sharing isn't as plentiful as it once was, we're still managing to land jobs. We are half staffed compared to a year ago but things are picking up again and we're thinking of hiring another two or three guys with the new jobs lined up.
What do you do now, Bowrider?
-
I'm a Retail manager, so I don;t get many weekends off either. When I do I try and squeeze in as much boat time as I can. I also do a lot SOLO on weekdays.

What's Arnie's Problem? Jack up the taxes on all these way overpaid enterainers (Actors, acresses, rock stars, etc and all their brethren, producers, directors, et al. ) They can afford it! Problem solved!
Kinda jaded towards Hollywood since a lil skank I used to work with is now on "Big Brother". LORD what a lying tramp! And I won't watch, (I'd strangle the "kung-fu" bitch!!)
But you guys shouldn't have to make up for what they don't pay! That just ain't right!

I work at Centinela State Prison. I love it. It's a great job when the Governator isn't messin with you lol. I used to have 3 day weekends before I promoted. I got a lot of work to do to get mine on the water. All these pay cuts are killin my boat budget. I need to start working overtime, but there is none right now (especially with my senority as junior sgt.).
