We specialized in finish carpentry for 17 years and did fairly well. When the market took a turn, we shut it down. Phone hasn't rang for over a year. :(

Times have been a little tough lately but we're managing to squeak by.  Although the profit sharing isn't as plentiful as it once was, we're still managing to land jobs.  We are half staffed compared to a year ago but things are picking up again and we're thinking of hiring another two or three guys with the new jobs lined up.

What do you do now, Bowrider?

I'm a Retail manager, so I don;t get many weekends off either. When I do I try and squeeze in as much boat time as I can. I also do a lot SOLO on weekdays.

Skip,  Have three sub contractor crews and 2 on the books right now. But from what I hear, another wave of foreclosures is getting ready to hit. We may need some help. I'll certainly keep you in mind.
