« on: July 16, 2008, 06:49:17 PM »
Anybody have any idea what model/style Berkley Jet they would have put on a 1978 18 1/2 DiMarco?? Has a 460 Ford,a top mount starter and he say's it has almost like a "bellhousing"? It blongs to a guy I work with and he say's there is no mosel number tag on it..... He say's it has a tag that has a couple of number's....but I dont know if they tell anything...They are  "M-2128" also has an "H-2155" does this tell ya anything? I thought it would have a tag that would be like a "jg" or "je" or somethin' like that I have not seen the boat and he's tryin' to figure this out...Any Help?? ???   Thanx,Tracy

No clue, could only be three or four different models of Berkeley, JC, JG, JE all three of these were avail. in '78, JC and JG very similar, JE uses a hull mold insert and all the controls enter below the water line...Very distinctive.

The "H-2155" is the casting/part # for the rounded keel intake for a JC or JG pump. Couldn't find "M-2128".
Sounds like a 460 on three point mounts powering a "conventional" JC or JG pump. If bowl is one piece with integral steering nozzle zocket, it is a JC. If bowl is two pieces where the nozzle socket bolts to the bowl, then it is a JG.
