If anyone follows MLB and the whole Bonds crap....
Marc Ecko(clothing designer) bought the 756 homerun ball for over 750k. He has decided to let the public decide what to do with it.
1. Send it to the Hall of Fame
2. Burn a * on it, then send it to Coopers Town (What I voted for) O0
3. Launch the ball into space...out of sight, out of mind

Having been to Cooperstown a few times I can avow that #756 has no business going in there.
That museum is reserved for the best of the best.......... Not cheaters!

I'm just a guy who could not care less about baseball on any level what so ever, so I just wondering . . .
what is the point of keeping any stats now that many players even in college are users?
what should be done to keep out drugs when this game has a rich history of cheating?
with the astronomical salaries being paid, don't you want to see balls hit farther and more often than ever
don't you want to see the fastest n the quickest people possible out there?
My first inclination is to brand the ball with the asterisk, but then who do you do that to the next time? Do you keep EVERY guy out of the HoF that is even suspected, or just the guys that Canseco named (he was the guy that wrote the book right?)
Hell motorsports revers guys who cheated as long as they didn't get caught. Why is baseball so different? Do you suppose none of the pitchers that Bonds got HRs off of were on the juice? The guy still had to connect with the ball didn't he? I'm just asking, I really really don't care what they do with him or it so I hope nobody here gets to twisted over these questions.

Thats the whole reason I dont care for baseball. The sport has held itself so "High and Mighty" that I think it has lost view of what it really takes to play baseball. It's called talent . I can only begin to imagine what all the old timers used to do before there was press coverage everywhere like there is now . Hookers , booze , and dare I say it . DRUG USE ! Since there weren't as many people with cameras in those days and not to mention the reports were probably partying it up with the athletes also , none of the bad behavior was ever disclosed.

Barry is now calling the man (who started and runs a multi-million dollar company) an idiot for buying the ball and taking input on what to do with it. Very classy Barry.\
I just learned today that the word idiot comes almost unchanged from the ancient Greek word that mean someone who does not vote. I guess BB doesn't know what a real idiot is . . . or is he? Hmmmm

I saw that earlier, All the more reason to make me watch something else. Baseball just isnt about baseball anymore. Its about building stars and then watching then get torn down .
I hope the dude burns the ball and we forget it ever exsisted and BB is never to be spoken about again , he is a douche .
