Whats a 1977 Glastron CVX-23 worth?

Hey guys, I found an absolute time capsule today. The boat is a 23' 1977 CVX-23 with a 460 BBF and Berkely jet. The boat is absolutely spotless and this guy bought it new in 1977. It's been under the same garage for 34 years and when I tell you this boat is clean, IT'S CLEAN!! Oh, and only about 300 hours on it.

What do y'all think it's worth? He wants $2,000 for it.

Brad, I'm certainly in agreement with you on that one. I was just curious as to how much this thing is really worth. It still has the original furr on the roof in the cabin, original fabric. It doesn't have that "old" smell to it or a hint of mildew anywhere. The hull has NO scratches on it and the only bad part is the deck is a little faded. I think a little wet sanding and a coat of clear would bring it back nicely.

I'm not buying the boat, my buddy is thinking about it.

its hard to say how much its worth without seeing it. i personally have never heard of or seen a "CVX". Post some pics if ya got em.

Get you an 8 Track tape deck and a Lava lamp.

That will take you back.

The boat looks nice. If you can, take it for a ride and see how it runs.

I'd buy it for $2K if I was near it.

Ya it is. My buddy here local passed on the deal so this fella from Houston bought the boat sight unseen just based on what me and my buddies told him about the boat. SOmeone is getting one very nice cruiser.....this thing is pristine.

Ya man....you're right about that. IF I didn't just buy my boat a few months ago, I woulda bought this thing without even testing it on the water.
