Yes...It is true! I am finally gonna catch up to the 90's and get a laptop so I can bother you guys day and night!  I found one in todays paper that is ironically (Rod) $420. That is about the cheapest one I have found...I just need it for internet and downloading pics on and E-mail so I don't think I need an expensive one..... Any suggestion as to what I should, shouldn't look for? I know as much about computers as Plesh does about typing....

It will work well for what you want to do.  Won't play highly graphic oriented games, but looks like a good deal for what you get.  I recommend you see it operating if you can, I am not familiar with the screen see if it is bright enough for you.

As long as it'll play the highly graphic Bloody Pinguin I'll be fine....

In my Opinion this is the one to buy if your just looking to play bloody penguin.  Nothing fancy just a working laptop. Gateway makes a decent computer, actually made by emachine now but still the same.  It wont play high graphic games but from what I hear of your pc skills you wouldnt know how to play those anyways...jk, but I am probably right. 

2 rules to live by:

1. NEVER buy a classified ad computer, NEVER... unless you have the skills to diagnose and repair another person problems.

2. NEVER NEVER NEVER buy the extended warranty! With electronics if its going to fail it will be within the 1st year and all warranties cover that from the manufactuer. If it fails after the first year it is probably time to upgrade anyways.

I have ordered and repaired thousands of computers and electronics, my business spends of $25k with dell on an average month(we order alot) so I see all sides if the electronic quality issue. I have bought 2 flatscreen tvs that both went to sh*t in the 1st month, and I buy name brand.
