I'm not. First Labor Day weekend in years that we didn't make it. Wife has to work all weekend and the last time we were out I floated a couple valves. Time for a rebuild.

I hate big weekends, and almost never go. Instead we're sitting by the pool drinking and throwing the football around with the kids. Damn my 10 yr old has an arm!!! Probably going out to Elsie tomorrow, early on and early off. We'll most likely be done by1pm or so. There is nothing that could get me to the river on a stormy humid Labor Day weekend anymore.

First time in as long as I can remember I'm not on the water. I'm actually in Georgia for a wedding, so still on vacation. Just a whole different kind, this is only my third time flying ever. But we did find a water and go have a couple beers on the water today. :-)

But spent all day Sunday floating at BigBear

On at 9 and off at noon. Boat ran like crap, hope its just a fouled plug. Very light crowd, we were all alone on the backside of Coors Cove which was fine cuz Momma don't like tan lines.

The guard at the City ramp advised us not to launch the big boy boat because of the low water level has revealed a sandbar right at the end of the ramp. BUT the other ramps at the west end have just been scrubbed! WOO HOOO!

Was st Elsinore all weekend .. Sunday was packed in the cove .. good times .. luckily had some beads in the boat for some reason and well you know what happens lol.
