Parker 1971, just off our dock. First 18 Torino out of the mold. Me behind the wheel, 15 years old with my friends. Not a great picture, but great memories.



Parker enduro, about 1988 I think. We had just set the kilo record with this boat, ETII class at 118 and change. Record still stands. Single carbed small block chevy, low rise manifold, and so on. Boat hauled the mail. And we raced the Mississippi race with it too, 2 years in a row, 1000 miles in 2 days in that race. The late Harry Christensen at the wheel here, owner of Advantage boats. Boat flipped and sunk in the first turn.

yeah man, that sandbar is still there, all of it, if i remember right from last summer haha...last winter i rode my dirt bike all over that sandbar and covered myself in mudd. one of the best times of my life, i couldnt see out of my goggles! muchless make it back to echo lodge around the corner to our trailer...good TIME$!

yep! too bad i didnt start going there or was old enough when it was poppin...i heard that the new owner or some ish, was trying to get it zoned for condos/apts. sad sad story man, i agree.

i was at sundance back in 76 during the van run called beaver burn out so i take it is no longer habitial

I took this last year, :-)  (my first time at the river)

I got bit by the bug bad, lol. I bought my boat about 4 weeks after I went.
Havent regretted a minute of it. After all, a boat is a hole int he water that u throw money into
