Avi/needles trip

stop by willow. I will cruise up to avi with ya for a bit. but probably end up motoring down to havazoo to watch the shit show for a bit.

The Avi is the south end of my boating/floating area. On the 4th, I'll be south of Harrah's and north of the Avi, (Bar beach, Bassett beach, etc.) till dark, then BBQ on the water and watch the fireworks across from casino row...

Willow staying at marks (5oclocksomewhere) I'm sure I'll meet up with Sam at some point. Him n his chick are good people.

where you guys all want to meet to watch the fire works. I heard the AVi has a good show. but we tried to watch it last year and it was sparatic at best. like one fire work every 4-5 mins. Does laughlin do a good show? I am throwing around the idea of going down to havasu cause i used to have a blast down tehre at that show. I just dont know about driving my boat all the way back in the dark.

anyway For all who will be at willow i will see you guys in a few days!!! cant wait to get back there.

oh and we might have some new residents soon. my friend is trying to make an offer on the place next door to me.

Everybody goes up to that road off boundary cone. I think is called mohave dr everybody parks off the road along the highway close to the Avi. Take your chairs it's a good time we did it last year and there was a shit load of people.

The show at the avi is better than you'd expect. They usually block the road but you can watch from the grocery stores

On 07/04/11, We anchored off of the little island at bhc/Laughlin, BBQ'd some filets, and watched the fireworks show. A local radio station had the show to music. The boat launch(Riverside) was empty by 11 pm

Tryin' do it again this year.

I'll be heading to ft Mohave tonight, launching at the avi. If you see a blue southwind with bassets and an american flag on the back parked next to a 24ft pontoon w/ a green bimini feel free to stop by. I'll also be at the Avi for the fireworks, always a bitchen show!

what a great weekend. Fireworks were awesome!! the drunk nights on the beach were epic, motor boated from willow down to the parker damn. that was a cool ride. Had some fun at Marck place, even though he passed out early on sat.

I was in needles all weekend also. I hitched a ride on my parents boat to avoid the headache.

What do you guys think of the wonderful new 'no wake' zone at the topock bridge.

Sooner or later the entire river is gonna be a no wake zone!

Ya i came tearing into that no wake zone.!! LOL i was like what the hell is this? it sucks. but that curve is usually kinda hairy anyway so i am guessing its a good thing. I dont like it at all though.

I still have not been into topock to check it out. As i drive by it does not look that cool. maybe I will swing in there next weekend.
