Last season, at the Riverside Launch ramp, there was a Nevada Dept. of Wildlife officer, and had his ticket book filling it out, on a pair of jet skis ahead of me. (They had NV tags)

Officer looked at me, (AZ tags) and waived me around.

Found out later the AIS isn't needed for AZ tagged boats-

From NV dept of wildlife:

"Arizona registered watercraft are exempt from the purchase of Nevada’s AIS Decal for the interstate waters of Lake Mead, Lake Mohave and the lower Colorado River. All other waters of the State of Nevada require an AIS Decal for Arizona registered watercraft."

For the CA guys- Ya need it, at least at the river.

"California registered watercraft are exempt from the purchase of Nevada’s AIS decal for the interstate waters of Lake Tahoe and Topaz Lake. All other waters of the State of Nevada require an AIS Decal for California registered watercraft."

Probably about a mile south of the AVI bridge and north. (AZ/CA/NV- 'south point')

I live in nv and when you register  the boat they make you buy the sticker.  It's 20 bucks for the year and they just make sure the hull is dry and you pay them. Done deal.

Oh to register everything it $20 for 18 to 20 feet and $20 for the ais sticker through the dept of wildlife and $40 for the trailer through the dmv a year
