Well the only casino you can really beach your boat on the sand is the avi. Like aquaholic said they have boat parking that is patrolled by casino security. They have a nice sandy beach and quite a few places to eat inside. At the lake the only place to eat is at Katherine's landing. I think they have a little restaurant right by the launch ramp. Could be wrong though. Never been into the place. And like I said in my previous post I don't launch at Katherine's. And yes I believe you will be fine with your v drive wake boat on the river. Just read the water. It will tell you where it's safe or not. Keep to the dark colored water. Stay away from where the water is all ripples, that means it is shallow and a rock bar or sand bar is present. The water release at Davis dam varies in the times it gets to maximum release each day (5 units). Usually in between 9am-11am it will get to 5 units then last until around 8 at night. But keep in mind the water may be 5 units up by the casinos in laughlin at the time of release, but it will take 3 hours or so for the water to get down to the avi before its gets to 5 units down there. I hope I'm not confusing you. The lake would be easier.....warmer water, no shallow spots, plenty of room to play. But it all depends on what you want. No places to eat at the lake besides Katherine's and I don't even know for sure if that is still there. Again sorry if I am just confusing you by babbling on like this.
