Laughlin Saturday 8-23
« on: August 14, 2014, 11:16:38 AM »
This has been asked but I'm still undecided.
I'm taking a group to Laughlin. Was planning on staying at the Avi. But they want the whole party experience. And I don't wan to drag the boat around.
What's the best place to stay where I can park, launch, and nearby to the major casinos.
Sorry if this is a duplicate post
I haven't been to Laughlin or any part of the river in 10 years

Public Boat ramp next to Riverside - So you can stay at any of the Hotels that are close-
Riverside, Aquarius, Colorado Belle, Edgewater, etc. Something a little nicer is Harrah's and I think they ave their own ramp-
Before I bought our place in Ft. Mohave, I was a regular at Edgewater and Bell-

The ramp at the Riverside is nice other than the swift current   the Harrah s is the nicest of all the casinos  but I believe they only have a ramp for the rental PWCs

Big Bend is about 5-10 min south of the casinos. Nice ramp and lagoon to launch into with picnic tables and little beach spots.
Davis Camp is just north of the bridge on the AZ side big "beach" area with tables.
And the water is umm..."refreshing".

Just a couple of other options that are pretty close to the casinos.

Thanks everyone looks like we're stating at the Aquarius and launching somewhere near by.
Maybe Mohave?

Laughlin trip was awesome. Towed in a gorgeous pickle fork. That hit some rocks. Nice to be able to return the favor. Been towed 2 or 3 times before.
Way too many lake lice. These jerks go around purposely splashing people that are coasting. Getting dangerously close.
A few times some almost hit us trying to splash us while we were coasting down river. Met some cool kats. Losers lounge  was the spot. 👍 next river trip will be further down river for sure.

Thanks for picking me and my boys up. I'm the one you towed in that day.
