Does any one have this on their  trailer?  I'm  painting my trailer while the boat is getting some clear and lettered,I'm trying to bring the whole rig back to original and want to get a new I'd tag.i know it's a stretch but doe any one know where I could get one made or am I spinning my wheels? Any info is appreciated

I've got same deal w/my Competitive trailer. Make appointment with local CHP office,they physically stamp new Vin #,issue new paper. Take to DMV,golden. PIA! Hope that helps.

Before I painted, I stamped the trailer with 3/8" VIN number on the left frame rail and painted it.
That's all I've seen on my other boat/utility trailers.
