Trailer spruce/rehab
« on: April 03, 2014, 10:14:38 PM »
So since my pup decided to jump in the boat to get out of the rain and couldn't find a way out he chewed my steering wheel and driver seat. My interior guy can't get to me til after Parker I decided to get back on the trailer. I rebuilt it beginning of last summer and got quoted fr a few trailer places for a new one and decided fudge it I'm just gonna save my money and do it all my self. Here's the start of what ice got done on the trailer.

I used some 3/16 mild steel and socket with vise grips to make a one piece cup instead of the four piece ones you can buy to cut the bondo and welding up the lines

My favorite photo is of you welding above the flammable can !!!!!!

Only on SoCalJetBoats do you see that kind of cool shit !!!

My pup also had a near death experience. When she decided to jump in the pool roll in the sand and dirt then jump on my boat and walk roll and who the hell knows what else she did on the deck of my boat. Took me three days before I could even go in the garage and look at it. She's lucky to be alive!!!
