Man this is one of my biggest peeves i hate selling things on Craigs. the amount of dumb a$$e$ that reply to the add do it through txt and if the actually call you its like at 11 pm even if I state in the add DO NOT CALL AFTER 9PM I WILL BE ASLEEP just like that in all caps they still don't get it I had one person call me at 1230 AM to try and trade me a ps3 for my fox body mustang I was so heated he got an ear full then had the nuts after that to still try and set up a time to come look at the car........ I just hung up. Also I may as well put no information about what I'm selling other than what it is because the people interested are just going to ask all the stuff that is posted any ways even if you say at the very start of the add read complete add before contacting. so I have my boat on craigs some one calls me an says hi I'm calling for the boat i replied with ya i still have it he says tell me something about it....... its black that's what i told him then be for he offered me a bunch of ridiculous stuff in including drugs he asked all the questions that would be answered if he would have read the add. Its almost not worth the hassle of selling any thing maybe il just start leaving crap stacked up in my fields just so i don't have to deal with selling things lol. what do you guys think about email responders is it even worth it to reply to them or is it mostly just spammers and scammers? also feel free to leave you craigs list stories and frustrations because i cant be the only one to have them

putting my phone on silent would be a great way do deal with the late night callers but due to my work i have to have it on at all times just in case there's an emergency and i get called in. tho low ballers are ridiculous lol some of the offers i have gotten are crazy i can understand i trying to get a really good deal for your self and pointing out a lot of negative things to get a better deal or the price lowered but hell these people don't even look at it just call over txt or email and offer next to nothing or some trade that looks like it was found in the wrecking yard or at the dump.

i have had fairly good success. but you will alway get the scum that are out to f--k you!  or the random moron. dont let them discourage you . cl is really a great tool and i usually only want them to text me .email work ok but text is fast and more direct. dont really want to give my home # out on cl. i only talk to them when there is a deal in place< just to make sure.  dont give up!

What I hate about CL is over posting. I've been looking for a place in IE, anybody know of any houses or work lemme know. I find these GD realtors posting the same places they may not even have over and over again. I searched this one bitches number and she had over three hundred ads for apts. SO,I figurred she wanted her phone to ring so I listed a bunch of free shit on there for her...like a corvette. I killed a lawyers phone in Vegas too.

A guy I know met someone at the Beaumont DMV on a sunday about buying a car... they kidnapped his white ass, stole his money ($4500), drove him to LA and dumped him without a phone.   

I've had good luck with CL but you have got to be careful and cover your ass.

I never meet up with anyone without having a friend with me for that exact same reason. Im not a scrawny dude as is but people know better than to mess with me when my 6'7" 290 lb dutch friend is with me hahaha
