Yeah I saw your conversation with that guy lol. Theres always THAT GUY in every topic. That's why I just use the page for showing pics and what not and only come here for advice topics for myself. But yeah, if you put your .02 on FB someone is bound to call you an idiot.

I hate to say this, but this site is what you make it. Regardless of being irritated with facebook.. use the site more. There are a lot of members on here, using it everyday. They just don't post.
 
When you post your weekend and event pictures here on this site, they're here forever. We're able to look back at them.
With Facebook groups, they're lost within an hour by all the other posts. If people aren't using the site, traffic slows down and the Facebook group is just going to continue to grow.
Same goes for sale ads, you will get more traffic  with your boat (or whatever you're listing) being listed here rather than in a Facebook group.
I think it's safe to say we all feel the same way!!

i can agree with that... and im guilty of not using the site as much anymore. i try to come in here at least once a week or so. And ive been using the mobile app more and more.

Just the natural progression of modern day social media i guess
