Just ordered my wife a new/used SUV yesterday

It will be exactly like the one in the Video. Duraburb will start the running gear transformation on 07 Suburban in mid sept, the new running gear will be out of an 08 duramax with 73k miles. It will be all Ca legal. We should take delivery mid October. Not sure who is more excited my wife or me.

They found the suburban fully load 4X4 leather DVD backup camera adjustable pedals it has 140k on it and the inside and out side are flawless. All said and done it will be $49,800.00. I will only pay taxes on 20k which is the price of vehicle and they are delivering it to Ca. Seems like a lot of money until you price a bran new suburban at around 70k that only has a gas motor and about 15mpg. This one will get between 20 to 23mpg. This one will go for a solid 350k miles and will have a 17k towing capacity.

Not sure how old they will go but here is there phone# Duraburb (407)889-5966 Brenda is a very nice lady and very knowledgeable. As for as the suspension and Running gear it will only have 70k miles on it.

Here's my question...how will that be legal in cali with efi live??? Means that they took the stock 6.6 ecm and tuned it. Not legal in cali. I have a 08 chevy 3500 with efi live and it's totally illegal to run on cali roads.

Not sure what your asking? Your saying mine won't be Ca Legal with EFi Live but yours is Ca Legal with EFI Live? I'm only going off what Duraburb are telling me. We still will have things to workout along the way so I always have backup plans. Like if the EFI live will make not make it legal I will simply tell them to leave it off, then once I register it at my parents house up in Inyo County where you only have to smog a vehicle when you buy it and when you sell it, then I will take it to SoCalDiesel over here in Valencia and have them add the EFI live. If Ca DMV gives me any shit at all I will simply take my money and my vehicle to AZ and register it at our river house.

that's gonna be badass Mark! GM sure would sell a lot more suburbans if they would offer this from the factory. We had the 7.3 excursion a few years back and it towed great, with tons of rooms for all the gear.

For the money Chevy would charge, you'd be looking at a Cadillac (for creature comforts) which again does not come in a diesel.
Generally when you need the capacity of a 1 ton its for a fifth wheel.
That's what trucks are for.

True, but having the diesel that thing will run for a long time and get better mileage pulling. My excursion with 35's would get 20-23 mpg, not towing of course but not bad for a 10k pound suv

I totally agree with you on the longevity but it just seems like Chevy has always relied on their interiors to sell trucks and SUV's.

You suck! I'm on 35's and can't get 15 to save my life. Granted it a weekend and tow rig so if it was driven more it might get better. But we average 10-14. It tows like a freaking camp with no hesitation and is tuned perfectly, but damn.
