There was another site a while back called Just Jets or something like that also that was pretty much a exact copy of SCJB.
I wouldnt say it was a copy....actually, the only thing it had in common with SCJB is that it was a jet boat only forum. That site belonged to Fut's brother. It didnt have much traffic and eventually fell off the internet. I remember certain people (rod) running their mouth on there trying to stir shit with SCJB.
There was another site that did ride the coat tails of SCJB big time. norcaljetboats. com ....I received a PM on SCJB from the owner of this domain, who asked my permission to start his own 'norcal' version of SCJB. I told him I didnt like the idea since I had spent a lot of time developing this site and that would just be a quick spin off of what I have spent a ton of time putting together. He did it anyways and needless to say it was a failure and eventually spun off to another low traffic forum called americanhotboats. com
Did you guys know SCJB is pretty much the oldest forum when it comes to performance boating?
I know you guys have a few choices when it comes to where you can go for boating info on the internet. I do my best to make it the best place while a lot of other sites try to imitate.
I appreciate all the members here. Its not easy or cheap to keep this place progressing.....so I thank you all.
