My 31St  bday I'm at big river,  see all the boats!  Small group of boats but we got to see some shit!  Rivertard was there,  he was making a pass, we recorded it,,  he had a backfire we thought his boat granaded, cuz it shot an impressive fireball thru his rooster tail!  When people asked if we had it recorded this guy with a blue and white blown pickle fork said hey,  post that to socaljetboats, we said what's that?  It's a social socal boat site,  make sure you send it!!  We were all sold!!!!  I'm just the only guy in my group that bought a v-drive after that!!  Everyone else bought jets!!!

You both are right and have every right to be upset. I get it. I'm not happy about it either.

I fought against creating the fb group for a long time. Told myself I would never do it because I knew it would totally take away from the site. But then it got to the point if I didn't do it, someone else would, and people were doing it. I needed to keep with the times or else SCJB would become irrelevant.

When I did decide to make the group I promised myself and the members of the website I would more use FB to pull traffic here rather than just make the fb group the main focus point. Well, that didn't happen. I bet 80% of the people in the fb group don't even know about this forum.

The top 10 list died for several reasons. Has nothing to do with the group. I always made sure the list stayed on this site and away from the fb group because I know fb attracts drama. But the reason why it died off this year is because first there was a couple of shitheads that came in and stirred the pot so bad early in the year that it made a few of the guys on the list say 'fuck it, I don't wanna be a part of this drama'. Also, second, a few of the guys took up racing on the track instead, which I totally understand and support. I do have a plan to kickstart the list. It will be a fresh start. A new list. I'm working on the details.

As far as the 2018 event schedule, they will be posted here just like I did with the 2017 events. The schedule will be posted sometime after the first of the year.

I know the site has gotten slow and I do appreciate the few of you that still post here and keep it alive. I'm not ready to give up on this forum. That being said I will start being better about making this place my primary focus. I already exhausted of baby sitting the group. Yes there are shitheads who just talk shit there but I do my best to filter all of the bad people out.

I have some cool things in mind for 2018. I hope you all will enjoy it.

If brad takes a pic of my boat @ one of his events then he owns the rights to that photo.

I got way too much money,  late night hours hustling to get to the lake in the morning for some one to OWN the rights to a photo.
In the event scjb had a pic of my boat and put it on one of their t shirts you think I would see a dime of it. Think not.
I like this site there is plenty of info and talent on here to get answers on just about anything and I'll keep checking out everyone's post so I can keep learning my self

If you don't want me to take/post photos of your boat, just let me know bud. I can totally respect that. Most people are excited to show off their hard work and get recognition for it. Every boat I have ever put on a shirt I got permission to do prior to going to print. Every one of them were blown away and excited about it.

This goes for anyone. If you don't want pics of your boat taken/posted, just let me know. I will respect your wishes and will not take offense to it.
