Ok if u change your intake u leave the OEM one out. Your heads won't seal right bin their done that. Now the other one is great from keeping your oil down from comming up top me I don't run one I have aluminum intake don't need them just run a big oil pump and almost closed push rods and you motor will run great. Just remember olds are ment to run great just don't push it over 5 grand for long or u will have many problems. Every body has their opinion on olds mine last for a long time while everybody else had their motors out waiting a long time to get it back on the water doing this and that. lol. Always have fun and remember bathing suits tops and always an option. Lol
