Either of which is a welcome sight here on an Olds. No secret my personal preference for Mallory stuff over MSD. It's probably nothing more than that, personal preference, in the long scheme of things, as I know many here on the boards, as well as Tom at JBP swear by the MSD stuff. BUT, anytime I'm dealing with new ignition parts on my stuff? Either a Mallory YLM marine dizzy (Or converted YL), or a Unilite, controlled by a Hyfire 6AL IF your electrical system is stable.
