I'm pulling a bbc 454 out of a 75 1 ton pickup this Thursday. 88,000 org. miles on it...friends dad says it ran perfect before the trans went. Been parked for several years out in pasture. Motor will come complete. Make me a decent offer and its yours. (I'll check the numbers and see if its 4 bolt when I get it out)

I may be able to  do something for you, depending on what you are looking for.  PM your phone number to me if you like, or I will send you mine.  I just completed a pump gas 468 for a customer that dynoed at 600 HP.

i have a 454 motor i just took apart, 2 bolt hi-perf pass block. all looks good it could be hot tanked honed and put back together with oval heads that look great. needs freeze plugs 200.00

 Get your engine yet? If you go with one of these other posts I may be able to help also. I have a fresh set of oval ports completely ported 2.300's etc.....I spent top dollar on my intake system and heads with Bryce Melvey from Dr"J"s or the Engine Masters Magazine.
  Also matched is a single carb (4150style) DART intake just got back from polishing. I do have a new carb too built for this set-up.
  I will include a complete flow sheet and I will spring the heads to what ever cam you choose. (roller/solid)
