My dad had that a 78 challanger that was nearly identical to that one for 28 years! It was a very strong hull, never let us down. I think thier "day cruiser" models we built stronger than their 18's.

i really like that rayson craft, but its a bit out of my budget range

no responce on the challenger yet.

so far, most of the boats when i ask for more pics, the ugly REALLY comes out.....they always pick the best angles to post.....then you see the other side or the interior up close and...BARF.

That '75 Hallett looks pretty nice... Other than the fact it has an Olds...  The Hallett with the pregnant wife is one of my favs so far (other than the green interior)...  That Kachina is pretty decent too...

Hmmm...

that hallett with the prego wife is a disaster for what they are asking....i love the hull, but it needs a TON of work....the carpet is ripped up....interior is destroyed....radio looks like it got jacked at some point....its been rode hard and put away wet.

if it was about $1500 less and i had the time and money to go through it and give everything it needed, i would do it. its the same hull as beerjet's orange cruiser....i love that hull.

Is that the one I referred you too Brad?

Also, I am not sure where you live but I'm in Orange County and a neighbor of mine has had a boat out in front of his house with a for sale sign on it since before the holidays. I'll do my best to descirbe it (from what I can see when I drive by) and you let me know if you want me to go by and talk to the guy.

21 Jet, Tandem axle trailer, mostly white with blue strips around the rubrail and along the bottom that are about 2" wide (typical late 70's paint job) but good colors. Big bubble deck style (only one step in it) Mini-day cruiser look, NO bow rails. Needs some love, last price that was on his sign was 3500, but like I said it's been up since last year, so he may be desperate.

It looks A LOT like that challanger that was in this thread a day or two ago but the color sheme is a bit different.

So that being said, do you want me to go by and check it out? I know nothing more that what I've told you, so if you want more I gotta go by his house.

Lemme know.

Speaking of that Rogers, Brad... You could probably pick that one up for less than $2K by now, if it's still available...  I still have the guy's number and a butt-load of pictures if you're interested.  Needed some lovin but it ran good and the interior was decent...

damn I think that may be the one. I've never seen it with the cover off but from what I can tell it looks like it. Plus his neighbor does have a coach so yeah that may be it. Did you go see it or did he send you that pic? Do you live around the guys house?

I live in Nor Cal but am moving to the OC... Had my Uncle go check it out and click some picks for me.  It was on Craigslist a while back, last I saw it posted was in the middle of Feb and advertised at $2500...  Talking to him he said he'd settle for $2K...  But if it's still available he may take less by now.

Had gone through a divorce and says, "The boat brings back bad memories of my wife and kids."
