WTB - Place Diverter Control Arm and Reverse Bucket
« on: September 01, 2014, 09:01:39 PM »
I am looking for a used control arm for a place diverter. I also need the reverse bucket that goes with it. Finish / color does not matter, because it is going to be stripped and re-powdercoated. Correct me if i am wrong, but the newer style control will bolt up to the older style diverters?  :-\ the first 2 pictures are what i am looking to get and the 3rd is the setup I have now. I am not able to trim all the way up and still have full steer-ability with the reverse bracket I currently have. I welcome any input you guys may have. Please send pic and price shipped to 33415, FL.
Thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong... But that looks like you have and jc bowl and steering linkage and je reverse bucket linkage and diverter bracket all Frankenstein'd all together there.

You can always call Tim at Place Diverter Controls, they sell all the pieces separately also.

Thanks for the knowledge. I bought this from the site last week and did not notice the reverse bucket mount until I opened the box. Completely my fault.  :banghead: That would make perfect sense as to why I am having the problem I am. I had only seen the other style mounts and did not know other options were out there. I guess thats because I'm still learning. Albeit the hard way. I saw the separate parts on the website. Do you knw if he sells used? I can't see paying that kind of money for a part that has already been powder coated if I am going to strip it all off once i get it so it all match the rest of my pump.

Call over there, he might give you a deal on pre power coated item or even power coat it the color you need. Tim's a good guy.

I emailed Tim today and he said he would check and see if he had a set that was uncoated / used. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I have a white bucket but it's not a place one. It's an e pump nozzle. The whole deal $15

Thanks Beav! I'm new to using place diverters and jet trim setups. I don't know if an E bucket will work with the standard control arm. (like the one I show in the first picture, not like the one on the pump now.) Pictures I've seen look like the E mount arm is too far under the pivot point if used with the standard place diverter control. Anybody tried this setup or had any issues?
