I've read he has feeling in one leg and foot or no feeling in both feet so it sounds like things are still up in the air. He's awake and talking. Going to be a fairly long recovery. I'll give him credit for his safety equipment. When they brought him up to the ambulance he had baseball catcher's type shin guards, life jacket, helmet with scuba regulator, hanns device, and the capsule. any less and he would not have survived. Ballistic jacket and pants may have helped but he had to have been knocked around in that capsule really bad. they said he was over the record (146) when he went through the lights. I can't imagine taking a fall from 25 feet up going 150 mph and staying awake ( or alive) through it.
