What do you guys think of the new interior. We've been working every day for last week trying to get this thing ready for the race. Looks like we,ll make it. Motor only has about 30 minites on it, its either going to go or blow.

Thanks guys, took the boat out to Elsinore monday after work and ripped the base loose from the floor. Vance fab up a little extra support across to the passenger side base and I reglassed the base back in. Lets see if we pass tech inspection. As a rookie I pretty sure i'll be running the outside lane, just getting some seat time. Besides i'm only running a 427.

I'm bringing the family up on Sat afternoon to check it out. I was going to try and bring the new hull up but we just ran out of time to get things organized and have a bunch of other crap in the morning. Anybody know what it cost to get in? Were you building this boat to be a race boat from the beginning? Or is it just something you wanted to try out?

I just called them They are charging for the races on the east shore the lady on the phone had no idea what the fee would be

I really always planned on racing it, but I was more into taking my time doing the restoration right. I have another motor in the works that will be much more competitive, and maybe another boat.
