Taco'd "a person or people that show up with one lake lice and a family of 50 and cram 3 people at a time on it with no disregard to boating rules or ethics. Usualy crap in toilets and throw shit paper in trash cans. Hang out at the boat ramp like its a swimming hole. Have zero insurance on anything they own and dont give two shits less about your property."

yeah if that is an offenhauser, like the original TR that was on it, the stock autolite dizzy was real close...just to 'paint a picture'

1/8 thickness for the mounting plate.

The distributor is a fine piece. Unfortunately, the the large diameter cap will not allow clearance for the Offenhauser's tunnel ram's plenum.  Keep the dizzy in there. Your current intake does not give up much power compared to the single carb tunnel ram.

p.s.: I didn't see any crankcase pics, would like to see them.

Here's another project i got my self into finished up the wiring and rigged the fuel system all most done.

Hey Brian I know this is from a pretty old thread (go back to page 1 where you had the pic when you just redid the fuel pump and seperater ect) but I am getting ready to re-do all my fuel lines and go to a larger diameter becuase I am having a fuel delivery problem and cant hold shit for pressure. I remembered looking at this picture a long time ago and now that I finally understand more about fuel systems ect... I know what I am looking at here.

The question I wanted to ask is are your tanks top drawing tanks or are the bungs at the bottom of your tanks?

Thanks

yeah I have a gauge, that is one of the ways I know I'm having problems, the damn thing wont hold pressure over 3 lbs when I'm cruising. I have a brand new fuel pump too. I think I have too many flow restrictions in my lines (90's and small lines) so because of that I am going to re-do my fuel line set up and eliminate all 90's and run bigger hose and see if that helps.

When I was out on Sat we tried everything else, we ran bigger jets we ran a bigger power valve and nothing, the damn think just kept falling on it's face when I would go to stab it, it' almost like I have something stuck in my fuel line. From what I can tell sometimes little things add up and create flow restrictions.

So this is my next project, the shitty part is that I am not going to be able to take it for memorial day, really sucks but at least we will have my dad's boat.

The weekend after we get home I am going to get to work on it again. I was just trying to see if other guys had top drawing fuel tanks as well.
