I hate to say it, but IMO the 305 is better off an anchor than anything else.
At 51 mph, its a pretty fast anchor...

Stock crank
.030" over sbc
World Products "s/r torquer" heads 72cc
.125 dome pistons
ZZ4 cam/springs
Summit 1.5 roller tip rockers
Stock TPI setup
Make sure to get all the sensors for a 350, if i remember right i had a nightmare with the 305 knock sensor running on my 350. I dont know why
ZZ4 Cam is very lazy.
I stepped up to this: 222/232 @ .050"-I .478"- E .500",-114*LS, 109* ISL, set at 105.
My build:
9.5:1, 113 heads, ZZ intake/750 Holley, vortec bottom end, logs and snails.
Pulls a AA to 4400 now.
