How much faster did the boat go with the scoop. I got 15mph when I went from a Dooley to a hardwood and another 12mph after Sammy got done painting it.

First thought it was the new badass ford engine but now that I take a step back and recalculate.......it it obviously the scoop adding HP.

I did the same exact thing had a blower motor in my Rogers went about 90 ish, bought a cp put the blower motor in it and a new scoop 106. Then put I nitrous motor in it and sent the scoop to Sammy and what do you know another additional 12 mph. You have a nice paint job on yours so you have to be atleast getting 15-20 mph and 150 extra hp.

Shit, my nerves are still on edge BUT we got her fired up yesterday into the evening.  Fought the timing for a bit to get it to run, but finally figured it out. Broke in for 15-20 minutes. Fuel leak but we got that stopped. Small water leak that I will look into this week. Afterwards we got the idle setup well in the 900-1000 range. She seemed happy even in her angry rumblin tones. Lol. All in all it was successful and I am pleased. Couple neighbors came out saying I was vibrating their walls. But with a smile on their face. Now I have a laundry list to take care of before I can test on the water. (fist pump)

Flat transom. And yes,  pretty much,  they used the factory plug jig.

Mine were the same way. Including my Bradhaul.

The factory jig was used to cut the pump hole,  with a flat, nearly 90 degree transom,  the hand hole ends up about half way outdoors.

My current jet has a Southwind bottom and is also flat and the hand home is the same way.

They are tricky to get a TA to work. None of then fit quite right.
