Jim and fordlover you guys crack me up, the changes are great lol, I agree with you the 7.3s were better but I have had my truck for a little over 3 years and it has done right by me. I was raised on fords and I will always drive a ford.

My 6.7 is a beast. Never had a 7.3, but have had an LMM Duramax. The 6.7 gets it no matter what I tow.

Didnt want to start a new topic so Ill put it here, but my damn temp gauge isnt working. Checked the connections on the gauge and it looked fine. Pulled out the sending unit, do these things go bad?

Ground the wire going to the gauge with the key on, gauge should peg.

Throw an ohmmeter on the sender terminal to the body, should read something in the 200 in range and decrease as it heats up.

Virtually everything starts to give up when screwed into a Ford.
