Just got back from Lake Ming, took the boat out, sat under a shade tree and dicked with the carb for a bit, found the front float bowl not getting any fuel, one of the jets had sand in it, needle & seat had teflon tape in it, cleaned it all up, set the idle screws, hit the key and wham! fired right up, dumper her in the lake, boat ran 4600 RPM flawlessly for a good 15 minutes, fine tuned the float levels and the air/fuel screws and hit the water again, still topping at 4600 RPM but this time we just cruised for about an hour or so until we ran one of the tanks out of gas, man I LOVE this damn boat! Carb's getting rebuilt next weekend, did I mention I LOVE my boat?
