The intake is set at 4.9 degrees up and the motor is set at 3.7 I believe. These measurements are taken from when the intake was set with the keel level.
I still have final trimming and setting to do once I get new pto bolts. The bolts that were sent to me are unusable and getting new ones are difficult as it's not a common bolt.
The marine company that machined them said to clean them with a wire wheel, last time I checked wire wheels don't put material back on


Would you trust these to hold your driveline on, let alone thread into the crank to cross thread it or snap off inside it?

On the drive line angle, not trying to beat a dead horse, but it is not just the angle differential you need to be concerned with. the angle differential is all fine and good, but....

The angle needs to start at the center of the drive line joints, not at the motor mount or the input of the pump shaft.
I hope that makes sense, you don't want to "bend" the horsepower at the wrong spot in the drive line, it puts undue strain on the entire system including the crankshaft of the engine and the pumps thrust bearing.

It is actually fairly simple to figure out, use your killer pilot shaft to figure out where the bend needs to occur as far as where the center of the two joints ends up when installed with 1/4" of "slack" on the splined shaft of the pump, then simply raise or lower the rear mount to gain enough height to allow for you to end up with the angle differential needed by adjusting the front mounts height.......OK maybe it's harder to explain in words than it actually is to do....(I talk with my hands a lot)

Anyway, I have somewhere a u-joint/CV joint 101 book around here somewhere, I will try to scare it up for ya....
