Here's my new ride, sold the Challenger one hour later the Hondo was on it way home,needs a little TLC, sat for about one year.

454 roller motor tunnel ram hydraulic place diverter,the guy i bought it from said it had 500+ HP and ran 70+ mph at 5600 rpms what do you guys think?

Congratulations.  I'd forgot that hondo built boats with that bottom giving it a larger interior space than mine.

Thought I was going to take it out soon,but fired it up today and I look in the back of the hull and it was full of water,WTF it pop out a freeze plug,might as well pull the bitch out and replace them all,BTW it would not hold an idle less them 2000 rpm's first thing came to mined was air leak any help??

Just because it popped out a freeze plug doesn't mean they all need to get replaced, it may have just been doing its job. What condition is the frezze plug in that popped out?

First thing that came to my mind was a dirty carb. Check the timing, 34 - 36 total. If those are good I'd look for an air leak, spray something around the intake and carb.

Make sure you use brass freeze plugs ment for a boat.
