New to the board, heres what im rockin

hey guys, im new to the board and actually new to boating. this is my first boat, although i have been boating with friends for years this is the first one i can call my own. its a 81 Bahner with a ford 460 and a berkely pump.

im looking forward to the next season of boating for sure. i picked this thing up a little late in the season so im definatly looking forward to a full season next year.

...was the prior able to give you any info on last pump or motor maintenance.

thanks guys, the boat has a fresh rebuild on both the engine and pump. only 10 hours on both since fresh. so thats good news. the boat was his second boat and it set in his garage alot and didnt get any use. he loved it and took amazing care of it. like i said. garage kept only.

im definatly lucky to get such a nice boat for my first but he cut me such a great deal on it i had to take it. my friend here in town has a hondo and we are going to be doing some serious boating next season so im exited to meet some of you guys along the way.

any info you can give me is greatly apreciated. thanks guys

Don't believe this guy. Not sure what the hell type of bullshit he's trying to pull. This is MY boat. Those pictures are of MINE and MY WIFES townhouse. Pictures of OUR boat. This guy is lying. That is our hallett in the background. The boat is in Flagstaff. The boat has since been painted white. The motor is a 460, currently getting work done on it. What the fuck is going on. I don't know how some asshole got pictures of my boat. I'll post current pictures in a minute and other pictures of MY boat at MY house.

Wow man. I've seen that Hallet on craigslist in flagstaff. Same exact colors as my '74 Hallet. Same exact boat from what it looks like. But holy crap man, I guess you really can't trust anyone.

Ya we sold the hallett a few months back. I just don't get why someone would pretend to have a boat thats not theirs. Has us a little worried that he wants to make it his. lol.

We had the bahner on craigslist a while back, that must be where he got the pics of our boat. After doing some research, we have found that we know the guy. We bought his hallett that he had for sale a few months ago. Go figure. $:-\$
