hey guys, im new to the board and actually new to boating. this is my first boat, although i have been boating with friends for years this is the first one i can call my own. its a 81 Bahner with a ford 460 and a berkely pump.

im looking forward to the next season of boating for sure. i picked this thing up a little late in the season so im definatly looking forward to a full season next year.

thanks   there is a terrible slope to the driveway so when it rains or snows it tends to make the boats float in the garage.  very poor designing contractors just rushing though to make these cookie cutter homes

well for starters you have no rain gutters that voids all warenties and just pretty much drains into your garage.But yea they were making us do two a day. your in belmont right?? that neighbor hood is a flood plain worst dirt i have ever seen. turns to the nastiest mud after just a small rain. plus makes the driveways sink..

Ya were in bellemont. And I agree about the rain gutters. Luckily were just renting, and are planning on moving asap. The landlord promised to put in rain gutters, but now won't get back to us about it. lol. Figures.

hahahaha. We live a few streets away from that. But when we cruised around after the tornado we saw that. Crazy. Last place i'd expect to see a boat.

let me clear this up since i have been absent for a while..

myself and FlagstaffJet were talking and had aranged a deal on me buying his boat...what i thought was the bahner. i didnt know that he had the hallet for sale and was no longer selling the bahner since i was looking at the bahner ad and not the hallet ad. it was pretty confusing at the time.... i was so exited about it that i took the pics that i had to put up on here to get input. the deal obviously fell threw later on and i went to buy a project boat. myself and him kept in contact and he ended up buying the project hallet that i baught.

was it dumb to put up pics of a boat i didnt own as of yet?? of course. however, the exitment was crazy and i wasnt thinking right.

so i do apologise for my actions and hope that maybe some of you can understand why i did what i did. if not i guess ill be boating by myself.

well i am buying a boat when i go out to california in just a couple of weeks to bring my truck home. its a very nice float and im very exited to be taking ownership of it. im buying it from the 2nd owner of it and he kept it in amazing condition. Small block boat.

i will post pics and all of the info when i get it hitched up to my truck.

yea it would have been a great deal. but like i said. it fell threw...i still have yet to have a boat of my own on the water..after i didnt buy this one i baught a hallet that was in not so good of shape and ended up selling it to this same guy and he parted it out.

could i have gone about it differently? yes...maybe not at all?? absolutly. but i didnt. i f-d up i apologised.
